We met at Ft. Webb Park in Bowling Green, KY on a cold and rainy day. It had been calling for rain all week, and we thought we were going to have to reschedule. The day of our session the weather showed it would not be raining during our time together, but when we arrived it was lightly misting very cold rain. It was overcast, but the setting was gorgeous. The leaves were vibrant on the trees, and the ground was covered in fallen leaves. By the time we started our session, the rain was barely spitting. Ashley and Kelly brought a clear umbrella that was perfect for the beginning of our shoot. Once we started, the rain held off, and we were able to have a magical engagement session to celebrate their love.
Ashley and Kelly have been together for five years, since their senior year of high school. They recently got engaged in September. Kelly planned a nice dinner that he said was to celebrate Ashley’s new job. After their dinner, the drove out to a field where Kelly had set up hay bales with pictures of them together through the years. He asked her to marry him, and she said yes! They will be getting married next September at Highland Stables.
