Kentucky Outdoor Maternity Session
India messaged me a few weeks ago asking if we could do her maternity session in a cow pasture. I was excited to do it, but had no idea just how beautiful it would turn out to be. We scheduled their session on a Friday evening, but as the days passed it started calling for rain. India asked if we could move our session up a few hours and it was perfect!
There was a slight breeze blowing, but the warmth of the sun still hugged our bodies. It smelled like rain was about to fall. There was a thin veil of clouds overhead creating a natural softbox for beautiful soft light. The cows lined up behind us without prompting like they knew it was time for their family portraits. India wore a gorgeous maternity dress and her hair and makeup were done perfectly. She was so kind to me and so loving to her husband and son. Trey was incredibly courteous and Lane was a doll. He had so much fun throwing rocks and sticks into the pond and being thrown in the air by daddy. It was a perfect session and I am so excited for the Jones’ to welcome their baby girl in December.
India, Trey, and Lane, thank you so much for being so kind and for allowing me to capture such a precious time in your lives! I had a wonderful time taking your maternity photos and I can’t wait for you to welcome your baby girl. She is going to be so cute and I know Lane will be the best big brother! I can’t wait to watch your family grow and see all the exciting chapters to come! Here’s to being a party of four!
