It was an honor and a privilege to get to photograph Jan and Larry for their 50th anniversary session! Jan asked me if we could have our session at Western Kentucky University because this school has been such an important part of their lives. Jan’s parents met at Western during their college years. Jan and Larry have both attended Western. Larry taught speech there for 45 years, and their children and grandchildren have attended this college. We enjoyed walking around campus reminiscing and hearing stories about Jan’s parents.
We were able to get a photograph in front of Potter Hall, where her mother resided many years ago. I also took some pictures of Jan and Larry in front of the Ivan Wilson Fine Art Center, where Larry taught during his time at WKU. And, of course, we took pictures under the kissing bridge.
Jan and Larry, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this wonderful milestone in your marriage. Congratulations on 50 years! Our time together was so fun, and I loved hearing about you and your family. Your marriage is such a great example of what a godly marriage looks like. I am so happy I was able to capture your love for one another. I hope you love your images, and that you and your family will cherish them for a lifetime! Love you guys!
